Directions: Go to the link below and read the article called "Butter Me Up!". Your post should be AT LEAST a five sentence paragraph in which you describe what you learned about butter from the reading. Your sentences must be detailed and show thoughtful reflection about the topic.
Butter isn't as bad a we think it is, for some reason people made the jump to margarine which actually contributed to the obesity train more than real butter. Real butter has been demonized and ostracized from the food groups because it has saturated fats. Well so do avocados and nuts, so does that make those unhealthy. Buying butter is tricky as well, because there are many butters that have been contaminated by man made fillers. It is best to buy all natural and organic butter then you will be getting the most amount of health possible. Butter is actually better than everyone ever though possible, it has several nutrients that are necessary for the body like, vitamin A, Vitamin D, and many others. Though like everything else people tend to go overboard. Butter should be a moderated substance and foods shouldn't be drowned in butter.

I learned that butter is actually good for you. The real thing you should worry about is sugar and processed foods. The best butter you can buy is raw organic and grass-fed. This can help you in so many ways. It can reduce belly fat, protect against cancer, encourges muscle growth, and it has several vitamins in it. Even though this butter is good for you, you should not over eat the butter.

I think butter is clearly better for you than margarine, according to the article. I believe that just like any food butter is good in moderation. Of course if you're eating a stick of butter a day, that would be unhealthy. I think that natural things are always better for you than man made. People should continue to use or begin to use butter again. As read in the text, butter has natural benefits and can help prevent many things.

I learned that saturated fat is not the worst thing. Sugar is worse than saturated fats. Another thing I learned is butter will enhance your health. Also, butter is a superfood. There are many vitamins in butter as well. That is what I learned from reading this article.

To begin with, from reading this article about butter one thing I learned is that researchers have found out the butter is a good saturated fat, therefore you need butter in your diet but the best butter is the raw healthy butter you get from cows, sheep or goats. Also something I learned was the next best butter to buy is pasteurized butter because it is still healthier then man-made butter that is suppose to be healthier. Furthermore something that I learned was that butter contains CLA in which can help against cancer, encourage muscle growth, and last help reduce belly fat. Moreover butter contains vitamin A, K12, D, and E, this means it can help with cardiovascular health, and also help with bone density. Last something I learned was you have to moderate it though because using to much will not help to keep your body healthy it will just add hundreds of calories to your diet.

From this reading i have learned that butter is a good source of saturated fat. The healthiest kind of butter is the raw kind that comes from cows. I have also learned that the man made butter that is suppose to be "healthier", is not the best choice of butter. Margarine is thought to have raised obesity and diabetes in the U.S. Butter also has CLA which helps reduce belly fat and protects against cancer.

Butter is really high is fats and nutrients that aren't so good for your body. There are lots of at her ways Americans can flavor there toast or baked potatoes with something a little more healthier. Reading that article gave you 4 great ways to each healthier by still giving you the great flavor with butter. Choose the healthier option.

By reading this post about butter I learned that butter actually is not as bad for you as it was thought. It was thought to be so awful due to all the saturated fats, but due to recent studies it was shown that natural fats aren't all that bad and it's the man made fats that need to be watched. Substances like margarine and other butter substitutions were made to reduce saturated fats and reduce risk of heart diseases, but it turns out that butter is not causing diseases and the man made products are just worst for your health. If butter is made from animals that are fed grass or leafy greens it contains more vitamins too. Even though butter is not found to be all that bad, people still need to watch their portions of it. Overall, I learned that it's alright to eat butter, even healthier to eat it in some cases, but you still need to watch your portion control.

Butter isn't as bad as most people say it is. Butter is high in nutrients and is considered a super-food. It is full of healthy vitamins and minerals, and is a great substitute for margarine. Personally, I prefer butter over anything else as a spread on bread, but now i'll be sure to pick that option more often. I'm glad to have read this article.

After reading this article I have realized that butter isn't that bad and how in some ways there are things you can do to avoid the bad kinds. Like buy unsalted butter or buy fresh butter! Also to avoid margrine cause it has a bunch of chrmicalsthat are not good for you and It's not ever as good as butter so you should avoid margine and just go for the butter!

Butter is usually summed up as good and bad butter. Bad butter would have a lot of unsaturated fats in them, while good butter can be organic. I learned that some butter can be helpful to your body. Butter contains a lot of vitamins in them such as vitamins A, K2, D, and E. These types of vitamins can help with your bones or just your overall health. Butter may seem like it is has to much fat, but you can buy butter from farmers markets that contain organic minerals and vitamins. If you want to buy butter that is good for you, it is best to come here also because it comes from animals that eat leaves. The butter may not taste as good, but it will be much better for you. The last thing I learned was butter can be consumed once in while. You should not be eating it everyday because that can be bad for your health.

Butter was always known for being unhealthy but in fact a good dose of butter is good for you. It is a good nutrient dense saturated fat with lots of vitamins like, A, D, E, K2 and CLA which stands for conjugated linoleic acid. But only some butters are good for you like the raw organic grass- fed cows. Other than that the manufactures suck all the good saturated fats out and replace them with other bad ones. Lastly, butter is still not the number one choice for a cooking ingredient. Too much butter can be a health risk.

Unlike people may think, butter is actually a good thing for the human body. There are many different types of butter that are unhealthy for you, but the best butter there is, is grass fed organic butter. This butter cointians many of vitamins and minerals that are nesessary for ones health. Just make sure that you dont eat too much of it and make it more of a treat to have not a normal thing to eat all the time. If a person gets the organic butter it can really help their health and make teir body stronger.

In the text it literally states how butter us not the bad guy, and how its gotten such a bad rep. But now the substitute that were supposed to be healthier alternatives and safer, aren't as safe and healthy as we would like to believe. All my life people have said that "butter isn't healthy." "use the alternatives." "they're healthier." And I've realized how seriously misinformed those people are.

Butter is constantly portrayed as being unhealthy but it may not be as bad as people think. Margarine is processed and it is what really is unhealthy for you. To add, butter is actually very beneficial in many ways. First, butter could enhance your health because their are organic butters that are better for you. Finally, butter actually has a lot of nutritional benefits. They supply vitamin A, D, and E which are vey important antioxidants for the body. Last, I agree that butter is healthy and nutrient filled but it should be eaten in moderation, not large amounts daily.

Reading this article opened my eyes in some way, it showed me that butter isnt all that bad. Its chalk full of vitams but there is such a thing as too much butter. And that there are alturnatives to butter. I also learned that having a reduced saturated fat butter donesnt increase or decrease your risks of having heart disease. Some saturated fats are good for you and you need them, but you can eat them in health foods not lik cookies and candy. I also learned that is okay to use it in your everyday lives, you can put butter on your roll, just dont drown it in butter.

From this reading, I learned that butter isn't all that bad for you. As I've grown up, I've always been told to limit the amount of butter I put on bread and other products. But from this, I realize it's ok to use, with moderation. With all the vitamins and minerals you can't get from substitutes, it's a nutritional necessity. Although I may not be using the pricier organic version, the pasteurized, GMO fed butter is still better than margarine! So, from this, I've learned that I shouldn't always refuse a topping of butter at dinner, and should actually look to uses some weekly.

Another thing I learned is that butter has a lot of minerals and vitamins in it. Some examples are CLA, Vitamin A, Vitamin K2, zinc, and copper. Lastly, I learned that butter is good for you, but use it in moderation. Do not use it all the time and be careful about how much butter you put on you food because it will add calories to your meal. Butter back in the space age was vilified for its high fats and was thought by the general populous to be unhealthy thus man created margarine and other butter substitutes to replace butter. It did work for a while but fast forward to the present day and all those things butter substitutes were created to combat they have actually been helping to happen like obesity, high blood pressure and general unhealthy diets in America. Now after recent studies it's been shown that butter is actually not as bad as it was claimed to be (at least the grass fed ones) the organic butter is actually really good for you and helps give you Vitamins A, K2 ,D and E all at the same time in other words it's healthy in many ways. One of the main reasons why it was vilified in the first place was it's saturated fat content but people have failed to realize that it alone was not responsible and the real culprits are foods full of sugar and processed foods, not butter. But like all things butter should be taken in moderation like every other food because in the end even the most healthy food in no moderation will be bad for you still. So overall I've learned to rid of the butter substitutes and go back to organic butter.

I learned that butter is not as bad as everyone says it is. Butter can actually be healthy sometimes and you should use it with your meals instead of margariane. Butter can provide you with a lot of vitamins and minerals as long as you don't go over board. If over load butter on your food you can be having hundreds more calories than what you actually need. Something interesting that I have learned from this article is that butter is not as incredibly horrible as everyone makes it seem. Even saturated fats are better than the sugars we find in our processed foods. I think this is something we've seen in a lot of food. Most foods have really good nutrients, and some not so healthy nutrients. There are so many vitamins in butter, that if eaten in the right amounts, it can benefit you more then it can hurt you. It can even prevent cancer and help you build the fats throughout your body that protect your organs.

What i learned from reading about butter is that the best to buy is raw organic and grass fed butter. Grass fed animals eat more leafy foods which makes them higher in nutrition that can make the butter healthier. In a stick of butter, it contains vitamins and minerals like vitamin A, K2, D, and vitamin E. Which i did not know at all that butter had vitamins. Unpopular to belief, butter is not as bad as society views it. Margarine was always the way to go in the beginning, as people viewed it healthier because of being man-made. But butter is actually the right choice, as it contains healthy vitamins and minerals that help in reducing belly fat, protecting against cancer, and encourages muscle growth. Butter is at its best when bought grass-fed or raw organic as it is higher in nutrients. Butter may be healthier and more delicious, but to contradict, going overboard in the butter can also be harmful. In the article, I learned that raw, organic, grass-fed butter is good for you by enhancing and providing many benefits for the body. For example, butter contains many vitamins and minerals such as CLA's (conjugated linoleic acids) and vitamins A, D, and E. this can be compared to man-made substances such as margarine and faux butter flakes because they can contain many harmful substances such as artificial dyes, preservatives, and chemicals. Also, although butter can be good for you, it is not ideal to overdose on it because if you eat too much it can become unhealthy. It is good to portion out quantities of butter throughout the week to make sure of not over- or under-dosing on it.

After reading this article it gave me a wider understanding of the overall differences between butter and margarine. I had always thought that margarine being the man made butter was not as neurosis for your body but I never thought it contributed to the rising levels of obesity, diabetes and heart disease. I have also learned how saturated fat isn't dietary. When in reality studies show that saturated fat is not to blame for heart disease risk and many have the opposite effects. Butter is one of the things I would never had thought would enhance your health but according to this article the organic butter comes from grass-fed animals. Therefore when it comes time to buy butter I will look for the organic because it contains higher nutrients unlike the factory-farmed animal which are raised by GMO “feedstuffs” and antibiotics.

People stopped eating butter because it was said to be really bad for you and a cause of heart disease. Now they are saying that you should actually have some saturated fats in your body which butter contains. Not all butter is good for you though. They say that the best butter you should have is organic grass fed butter. This is a good way to stay away from sugars but still get the same thing

what I have learned from this article is that butter is a super food, only when you buy it raw and organically grass-fed. this 'super food had vitamin A,D,E, and K12 which all contain antioxidants that are good for your health. I also learned that the fake butters may have added to the causes of obesity, diabetes, and heart disease. last but not least I've learned that there was a small decline that has put butter back on tables than the other fake butters.

I learned from reading this passage that saturated fats are not as bad as we think. The real problem lies within processed foods and sugar. To avoid these problems we as consumers can buy organic or grass fed butter. Grass fed butter is usually higher in nutrient contents than GMO fed butter. As long as we do not overeat butter, it is very good for our health.

From reading this article about butter one thing I learned is that peoplehave found out the butter is a good saturated fat, so you need butter in your diet. But the best butter is from sheep or goats. Another thing that i learned is tht it is better to have man made milk because it is better for you in many ways. One thing that surprised me about this article is that i thought butter would have been bad for you, i always knew that margarine was worse, but i found it surprising how good butter actually is for you. Last something I learned was you have to keep a level amount of butter because if you do not then all you will do is gain calories for the wrong reasons.

From this article, I learned that butter and margarine substitutes are worse for you than the real deal. Real butter that is raw, organic, and grass fed is the best choice because it doesnt go through multiple processes that alter the butter completely. This type of butter is better for you because it includes CLA, which helps with muscles, refuce belly fat, and reduce risk of cancer. It also includes vitamins A, K2, D, and E which help in various ways. This butter also has a lot of nutrients and minerals that help with key health points.

I learned that butter can help our health and about the different butters out there that are healthier for you. Raw organic and grass-fed butter is the healthiest butter to look out for. We can also check out the farmer's market for minimally-processed butters that are still healthier than most butters. We want to stay away from any factory made butters that have additives and chemicals in them. In addition, butter provides us with certain vitamins and minerals. For example, we can take in vitamin A, D, and E from butter. Butter can be looked at as a food that you eat in moderation and not in big amounts or everyday. To sum it up, the right choice of butter can really benefit your health in a long run.

I learned that margarine although it was designed to be good for you really isn't. I also learned that butter is actually better for you than margarine. Although margarine is made from oils it is very unhealthy for you. You should only use butter as if it is a few-times-a-week treat. There is actually vitimin A, D, and E in butter.

Butter isnt the enemy, and it actually isnt that bad for you. Butter is better than processed and sugary foods. Also, organic, grass fed animals who contribute to the butter is the best kind of butter. All butter is made differently so you want to try to buy organic stuff. Butter also contains a lot of vitamins and minerals. Most people dont know that and that could probably help with most diets. Butter can be good for, but like any food, you have to have it in moderation.

Butter is not as bad as people once thought. Butter has good saturated fats like olive oil. Butter is best when it is bought as raw, organix and grass fed. Also, butter is now known to be much better than the fake butter (margarine). Butter also is considered a superfood as is enriched with Vitamins, Minerals, Vitamin A and Vitamin D. In closing, you should always watch the amount of butter you use on your foods and during cooking

I learned from this article that butter is hnot bad we previously thought. Yes, butter does have a substantial amount of saturate fat, but it's not the same bad fat that it's cookies and chocolate cakes, it's a good type of saturated fat. The best type of butter to buy is organic and grass-fed. This type of butter has the most nutrients and, unlike, non-organic butters, the animals weren't treated with hormones and antibiotics. This is good because hormones and antibiotics can potentially cause cancer. Butter has conjugate linoleic acid, which helps reduce belly fat, and it has many other good nutrients as well. Now that you know how healthy butter, be sure to incorporate it into your diet -- but use it in moderation and use a light hand when serving yourself portions of butter.

I've learned that butter isn't as bad as we think it is. It has saturated fats that if we eat it in low doses, its actually healthy for you! It has vitamins like A and D which are really good. The stuff in butter is stuff that is found in like olive oil and nuts. But the butter we should eat should be made from grass eating animals. Not man made processing stuff like margerine.

One thing in this article that surprised me is that butter could be considered good for you. Depending on what food you think is healthy and what isn't butter coul be considered healthy because it contains vitamins, A, K2, D, E and more healthy nutrients. I am shocked to read, or hear about the fact that some of butter it good for you because of how much society bashes it. Some of the most healthiest types of butter you can buy are raw organic and, or grass-fed.

After reading Butter Me Up, I learned the artificial butter is not a good choice to spread on your toast. Margarine is loaded with chemicals because it is mainly artificial. Butter can be the better choice if not used too much. It is packed with vitamins and nutrients for your body which is shocking to me because all my life I've been praised to stay away from butter.

This article really opened my eyes to the things i did not realize about butter and margarine. Although recent outbursts have said that artificial butter is a healthy alternative, it really isnt. Artificial butter will not be beneficial to your health due to all the chemicals it contains. Recent studies have shown that butter is a better choice aslong as it is take in moderation.

What i learned from this article is that butter is and can be very good for you, as long as its organic and from prairy fed cows, goats ect. It has a lot of nutrients and vitamins but it should be eaten in moderation. Too much is a lot in fats and sodium. People have taken butter out of their diets because of all the chemicals, dyes and unhealthy things that are put into it. But now that the studies have shown that a little is healthy and good, more people are going to want to bring it back onto their dinner tables.
